IRVING, TEXAS…..Comedy lovers are sure to enjoy "Don't Drink
the Water," by Woody Allen, a two-act play which takes place in an
East German United States Embassy in 1982. The play will be
performed by In His Image Drama Company, an extension of the Calvary
Temple Fine Arts Department.
When U.S. Ambassador, James F. Magee must return to the United
States to seek office, he leaves his zany son Axel in charge, thus
the mayhem begins. From a North African Priest who thinks he's a
wonderful magician to a fierce German soldier named Krojack, the
crazy antics are sure to keep the audience laughing throughout the
evening.
Performances are set for Thursday, August 27 and Friday,
August 28 at 7p.m. in the Calvary Temple Family Life Center. Dinner
will be catered by the Spaghetti Warehouse. Tickets are $15 for
adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
And, while parents are enjoying "Don't Drink the Water", kids
can have a blast at Kids Night Out with Calvary Temple's children's
ministry. For only $5 per child, kids can enjoy games, treats and
prizes. In addition, the Calvary Temple nursery will be available
for younger children. Kids Night Out and nursery reservations must
be made when purchasing dinner theater tickets.
Calvary Temple is located at 3000 West Airport
Freeway in Irving.
