IHI Free Original Scripts

We perform materials from all sources, but we especially enjoy writing our own scripts to complement and illustrate the message we are trying to convey to our audience. Whether it is for street evangelism or ministry within the church, we feel that every audience needs a special word from the Lord. Our job is to seek Him in our writing and let God write through us. We ask that in return, you email us at iluvduncan@yahoo.com and give us a little feedback on what you think of our work and if you would like to see more of our scripts become available. Thanks so much and God Bless!

These scripts are free for you to use. We only ask two things:

(1.) Please email us at iluvduncan@yahoo.com and let us know how you are able to use them. We like to know how our ministry is being used for God's glory.
(2.) Please do not sell any portions of these scripts for profit. If you perform them in a dinner theater and charge admission or something of that nature, that's OK.

Recall Notice -- a small meeting of workers(angels) discuss a "recall notice" sent out by God for all human units to get the "Jesus" patch.
Left In The Dream -- a young girl tries to get her parents to come to church with her to hear about the rapture...and then it happens.
Dating For Jesus -- a girl tries to get her friend to join her Christian dating organization ...until an annoying male member ruins her plans
Take Me Out to the Ball Game -- Version of the previous script that would be good for a more youth-oriented audience.
To Witness or not to Witness -- This message illustrates how you could be listening to the wrong advice.
It's Your Mission -- Good message for a missions related message or topic.
Never Too Late -- It's never too late to turn to Christ, even in the face of death.
Judgment -- Two people find themselves at the pearly gates, but will they get into heaven once their behaviors and beliefs on earth are reviewed?
Everyone Needs a Friend -- Conveys that everyone needs a friend no matter who they are...even your boss.
Warfare -- Don't give up on God--takes place in prison. (Good for an outreach to a prison.)
For Giving -- Based on a true story of a friend in my own life, this story is on forgiveness and giving.
Cleaning Hearts -- This script is a message on not pre-judging people before you know them. They might not be what you presume them to be.
Cleaning Hearts - youth version -- Youth version of the previous script.
Talent Critic -- This script shows how no matter how untalented you think you are, God will always give you the tools you need to serve Him.
Mary of Magdala -- Emotional monologue by Mary Magdalene on the resurrection of Jesus. (Would be good for Easter.)
Temptation -- Mime for youth about sin, peer pressure and temptation. Can also be altered to be used for adults (e.g. man at the office, etc) Click here for the mp3 file of the music...it works great for this sketch.
The Date -- Funny script about a first date gone wrong.
Surviving the Ridicule -- Yes, you guessed it! This sketch is a parody of the TV show "Survivor". Who will be voted out?  (We wrote this to be filmed and shown for a Sunday message, but we also did it live)
God at Work -- A woman is fired for praying at work...a story of religious persecution in the workplace.
Walking Out -- Short script about a family in Berlin just as the Berlin wall is coming down in 1989.
Country Love -- A day in the life of a backwoods family. Comedy with not much of a message, but a lot of fun to do!
Funny "Advertisement" Shorts -- Some short and funny "ad's" to use wherever a "short" is needed.

Adaptations: (adapted from another medium and written into a script):
The Breakfast Appointment -- Illustrates how important our prayer and devotional time is to God. (adapted from a Christian story)
The Visitor -- "...in as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these, you have done it unto me." (adapted from a Christian story)
Prayer Time -- Comedy...A woman forgets to pray in her rush to get ready for work and decides to make her car her “rolling prayer closet”, amidst the distractions of the road
Prayer Time (teen version) -- Version of previous script with a teenage girl "new driver"...good for youth ministry.
Sharing is Caring -- The meaning of this message is that things are not always as they appear. (adapted from an excerpt in "Chicken Soup for the Soul")
Mountain-Moving Faith -- Faith moves mountains. Sketch about what having faith can do...taking God’s word literally (adapted from a Christian story)
A Soldier's Heart -- A soldier coming back from his post in the middle east to meet his true love...for the first time. (adapted from a Christian story)
Daniel's Ministry -- How the ministry of a homeless man can touch lives. (adapted from a Christian story)

For Kids (original works):
Just Around the Corner -- Illustrating with puppets that tough question "why do bad things sometimes happen to good people."
A Sign -- Comical look at what Noah might have gone through waiting for a sign from God.
