Celebrating 10 years!

Welcome!

This website is dedicated to a most distinguished British actor...Steven Waddington.

I myself fell for Steven when I saw him in "Last of the Mohicans" in 1992. Since then I have been on a long quest for any material or photos I can find. I have discovered that material of Steven is often hard to come by, but I have seen some interest in addition to mine…so I decided to create my own fan page dedicated to my very favorite actor.

I did manage to find some interesting background information. Steven was born and raised in Leeds, England. At age 18, he earned a place at London's East 15 Acting School and three years later joined the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company. He spent a two-year season with the Company, appearing in such plays as "All's Well That Ends Well," "Coriolanus" and "Pericles," before being cast as the lead in "Edward II" at around age 23 in 1991. The IMDB has his birth year listed as 1968.

**Sidenote regarding the movie "Breakdown." I scanned this movie over and over and I do NOT believe that Steven is the "cowboy in the bank" as stated by the Internet Movie Database. If you have information otherwise, let me know and I will retract my statement. For example, if you have some "uncut" version of the movie where he plays a different "cowboy in the bank", let me know. (I will want a copy of that!!)

Update!! The gentleman that is in "Breakdown" was kind enough to send me this email.  It's pretty self-explanatory:

Hi.  There seems to be some confusion about Steven Waddington that I can clear up for you.  You see, there are two of us.  At the time I started acting, there was no other Steve Waddington. In fact, YOUR Steven is not in the Screen Actor's Guild. (He's from England, so I guess he doesn't need to be.)  It has caused a bit of confusion for me as well.  SAG is telling me not to change my name, because I had it first (me being a few years older!) but it is getting a bit weird. I was the cowboy in the bank in "Breakdown" as well as quite a few other roles.  Sorry for the confusion.    By the way, I think Steven is a very fine actor and he would be proud to know you have gone to so much effort on his part.  Here's my site address Http://mary.cc/steve

***I would like to say a big "Thank You" to Steve for clearing this up and I wanted to include his site in case you want to take a look!

If you have any photos or information that you have not seen on my site…PLEASE email me any additional stuff! Also, I am always on the lookout for fellow Steven Waddington fans, so just drop me a note to say "hi" or what you think of my site! I am always updating my photo gallery as well.
